Meh, everybody knows that Jeremy Brett was the only Sherlock Holmes.

Love this show. And it just so happens to be from the current Doctor Who writers...

But where did you get the 31st of October launch date?

The Doctor Who these days is just awful. I have no idea why it's so popular now.

Well of course the books are always better, but as far as the live action shows/films Sherlock has the best Sherlock, Robert Downey Jr. was a good one too only problem was he wasn't English. So the role didn't exactly suit him.

I agree. Cumberbatch is outstanding. RDJ, did an ok job but the rest of the movie was pretty annoying. If you've never seen the old ones with Jeremy Brett you should definitely watch them. His Hounds of Baskerville is particularly good but IMO Benedict is better.

It's extremely popular because it's not awful, it's one of the best shows on TV, like Sherlock.

British tv! The only 2 shows I have seen and liked were Hex and Survivors but the ever so campy and cheesy Dr. Who, no way.

I feel sorry for you. You can't enjoy some of the greatest stories that've ever existed. Your life sucks.

2nd season was the best. Just watched reichenbach fall again. Still no idea how he survived.

Dr who has gone to shit. It started good but in the new series every episode sucked.

whaaaaaaaat Sherlock one of the greatest stories ever? Come on man. OK for you it may be but one of the best stories ever no way. I mean, if your going with that your going to put it up agains stuff like The Iiad, The Odyssey, The works of Ernast Hemingway, Hunter S. thompson, or JRR Tolkien. I am not saying the books are all the bad The first 4 by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle were pretty good but anything "adapted" from that has been straight garbage especially that RDJ piss pore excuse for a movie.

Have you ever been to a sci fi con?
